We moved to Wymondham last September and after a pint & snack on our first visit to The Queens Head, haven’t looked back.
We now make the Sunday lunch a regular occurrence - and have tried all the meat options on the menu- every one as good as the other. We always add Cauliflower cheese (to share 1 between 2 people) and enjoy the addition. As a bit of a Roast snob we can’t fault it, the gravy has depth and the Yorkshires are large and crispy!! Look forward to the next one ??
There staff had to cater for 22 people for our business group Christmas dinner. The setting is beautiful and seating is comfortable. The food great and on time. there was plenty.

I visited on Thursday the 3rd October.
My first impressions of the Queens Head (including reading the menu outside) was excellent! The people working there were polite friendly and helpful. The menu is good, with enough options, but equally allows the venue to buy quality products. Both the starter and main were excellent! The wine I drank was exceptional for its price. Well worth the money and a visit
5 of us dined plus our dog. The young guy who served us (forgot to take his name) was amazing, dealt with all our tweaks to our orders, super friendly and totally unfazed by our not so small and slightly water messy dog. Nothing was a problem and made our evening very pleasant on top of which the food was very tasty, best we'd had in the area. Never eaten a burger so quickly!
Have never had a bad meal at the Queens Head.
today James gave excellent service and advice on the dishes., which again was excellent. Excellent food, atmosphere and staff.
We had a party of 6 celebrating a 70th birthday. The food was amazing, the staff so attentive and we had a fabulous evening.
You cannot beat the Queens head for the quality of their food. The service is outstanding and the best cocktails

Thank you so much for a lovely evening. My wife and I dined with our friends last night and the food was first class. Each of the 3 course was superb,in particular the salsify started was outstanding. The wine (Merlot) was well priced and was a particularly good one. All of the staff were friendly and attentive and really added to the occasion. Thank you all, we will definitely be coming back and recommending you.
We had Sunday lunch for my brothers 30th birthday there was 15 of us in total..but no problem food all came out together warm perfectly presented lovely food..all staff were excellent ?? thank you..
I can’t talk enough about how brilliant these guys are. Customer service was brilliant and the food was fantastic!! Victoria was so good, especially since I had a lot of last minute changes to the booking, but she was so accommodating!
Definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

Went here again last night with friends and again we had a superb meal, the staff are friendly and well trained the food is fabulous and it’s very good value for money !

We first went here a couple of months ago on the recommendation of a friend, what a find since then we have been many times with family and friends and it never fails us, lovely food served in a good friendly atmosphere, happy staff a really Gem of a place.
Our Saturday lunch for 6 to celebrate son-in-law's 50th birthday was brilliant.

Our first visit and what a great experience. Faultless. From beginning to end the evening was so lovely. We ere celebrating a 60th birthday incognito ! The food was so delicious , fresh and well presented. The service was second to none and our main male server was so accommodating and friendly, apologies name forgotten ! Portions so generous. Also delighted to be able to have our pooch with us.Ambience and style of restaurant excellent. Thank you for a memorable evening, we will be back soon.
We were let down by another restaurant and managed to book a table at the Queens Head at the last minute. We were so pleased we did. Unlike the other place covid restrictions were adhered to and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal in great surroundings.
Visited for the first time Thursday night for a meal with friends. The food and service was excellent and will definitely look to visit again before long
Absolutely outstanding food , service and atmosphere making the queens head the best restaurant in town in my opinion.
A great team that produce such lovely food ,,good selection of beers , wines and a fantastic cocktail list .

Had a beautiful meal last night at the Queen's Head. Victoria was so welcoming and the staff were so attentive and friendly. The Bao buns with hoisin pork were amazing and the Satay chips were so yummy. Love the Brew Dog lager on tap. Our experience of this lovely pub is always consistently excellent. I recommend it very highly.

The best espresso martinis Truffle risotto was lush Brownie was lush Staff are really friendly and seems as if they enjoy what they do which is my fav thing to see cause the friends I go there with know each other from working at restaurant and we loved it too My only criticism? Is that some warm fresh bread and buttery butter would be delish to have on the table to begin

We booked a meal here for the evening of our wedding and wow the food was amazing!! Victoria and her team were so accommodating and made it a perfect ending to our day ? forever grateful and will definitely return. Thank you so so much xx
We visited The QH twice in the last 3 weeks, as a couple and with a friend, sat outside and inside and both times the food was exceptional/beautifully presented plates and service brilliant, as always.
Menu has a great choice of meals, as not too overwhelming to choose. The new outside area complements the restaurant beautifully/tastefully. We felt very comfortable and safe. Well done Vicky!!!! see you again soon.
Just had a lovely chilled evening at The Queens Head Pizza Terrace .... great food, great service and fabulously finished off with Expresso Martinis .... what’s not to love ????
We had are first takeaway it was amazing full of flavour. Can’t wait until next weekend.
Ordered our takeaway this evening and it was absolutely delicious. Ready on the dot! No waiting and really well organised. Have missed eating here, and the food was so good it made me miss it even more.
First visit. What a lovely atmosphere. Wonderful staff and it felt very covid safe. The food was fantastic. The 12 hour braised shin of beef out of this world in flavour and so nicely presented. Will definitely be back.
A nice return to this local venue. They have everything well organised on the "Covid - front" but it does not diminish the dining experience. The food was very good and nicely presented. Staff attentive and polite. Well done!

Our first visit to the Queen's Head to meet up with friends was a revelation. Apart from some usual pub choices, there were some imaginative and different options, too. These included celeriac schnitzel and a sea bream fillet on smoked mackerel risotto - both were very tasty and much enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in spite of being very busy. An added bonus for us was that our dogs were able to join us, they fell asleep under the table while we ate. I'm sure we'll return even though it's a few miles from our home patch!
Lovely food And staff had to wait a bit but did have 2 big party’s in as well but was worth it
Food was of a high standard and the amount was perfect. The staff were happy to change some of the ingredients on the menu to accommodate my personal requirements
A very friendly pub in excellent decorative order. My wife and I both had a three course meal, which was excellent. Very tasty and obviously made with only the best ingredients and care. Competitively priced for this level of quality. Will definitely be back!
Went for my birthday, had never been before, staff were very very good, very good food, it was a Tuesday evening and there were a lot of customers eating and at the bar, Greg and Brendan really looked after us, will be back.
I went in for a meal recently, the place was very busy. I was shown to a table by the waiter called James. He was extremely friendly, happy and helpful and made my experience wonderful. Our food was delicious and fresh, and came out in good time. My only negative is that the other staff didn't seem to want to be there as they didn't smile and make me feel welcome. So thankyou very much James, we will be back soon
Absolutely fantastic place to eat and drink and the staff are just wonderful. A very kind barman James offered his ear when it was needed due to circumstances at the time and ensured I got home safely by arranging a taxi. Exactly the kind of staff and service anyone could hope for. Welcoming faces, helpful, accommodating and amazing food. Look forward to seeing James and the rest of the staff again soon and eating again.
Went in for lunch today and the menu and food quality was brilliant! Will definitely be visiting again!
We had a table of 11 on Saturday. We had 2-3 courses. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent service, didn't wait long at all between courses. Food was delicious and the menu was great, difficult to choose my dessert as so many lovely varied choices. Prices were fair and nice cosy interior. I will definitely go again. 5 stars.
